The overarching objective of this campaign was to publicise the WEST ‘Training Taster Day’ Conference at the Liberty Stadium to attract attendees (125 in total) and encourage businesses to incorporate low carbon solutions into their day-to-day operations.
- Invites sent directly to all key known stakeholders six to eight weeks prior to the event
- Targeted local and national advertising in the Wales Business Insider magazine online email newsletter each week in six weeks build up to the campaign with a link to the registration form on the Conference website
- Banner advert to share on partner websites with short section of copy to announce the event, encouraging all partners from the University of South Wales to share via their newsletters and social media.
All this above the line activity was supported by a steady drip feed of media releases in the build up to the event to reach the B2B target audience and encourage sign up to attend. To promote the Conference to media we used case studies, along with new research / findings / comment from ambassadors on trends in the low carbon industry.
Our campaign secured national and regional print and online coverage within the business and vertical sector press, helping us to sell out the Conference with a few days to go.
