Cardiff-based national promotional staffing solutions provider, Eventeem, has started 2018 the same way it finished 2017 – with record profits, buoyant turnover and ambitious targets for the year ahead.
With more than 2,000 brand ambassadors and promotional staff on its books across the UK (of which around 300 are based across Wales and the South West), Eventeem has just announced year on year growth in turnover of 43% and a record 74% rise in annual profit after tax. This has been achieved by the company taking on a diverse range of new national UK big name brands in the last 12-months such as high-end retailer, The White Company, national student accommodation provider, CRM Students, and mobile vet service, PawSquad. As well as pan regional activity, which in Wales includes: regular event promotions and sampling activity for Welsh brands including Peter’s Pies, Dragon Cheese, Garth Bakery, Lovemore Foods and Real Crisps. Now in its fifth year of trading, Eventeem has also just completed a brand refresh to better reflect its reputation for innovative experiential and staffing solutions that enable meaningful brand engagements and reinforce customer relationships.
Commenting on this success, Managing Director at Eventeem, Ceri Gravelle, said:
“At Eventeem, we’re only ever as good as the people we provide, and last year’s record performance is testament to the quality of brand ambassadors we have on our books. This year, we intend to recruit 50% more promotional people right across our UK network. We’ve also identified a gap in the experiential market for high-end entertainers and we’ll be launching a bespoke new event entertainment solutions division later in the year to meet this demand.”
