Cadw, the Welsh Government’s historic environment service, briefed us to develop a marketing campaign for delivery between 1 March and 31 August 2017, to increase admissions revenue.
A secondary aim of the campaign was to bring Cadw sites’ histories to life in a new and immersive way, helping to engage a wider audience in Wales’ heritage.
We devised Cadw’s Live the Legends | Chwilio am Chwedlau campaign, which focused on bringing the histories and legends of Wales to life, with an array of new and exciting experiences at sites across the country — from the arrival of a Dragon Family to the introduction of a series of live-action interpretation events. A cross-platform marketing approach, using a mix of PR, TV, digital and outdoor tactics, was devised to promote the campaign to audiences within Wales.
